Internet Wisdom
I love lists like these. Namely, while they rarely tell me anything deeply profound, they make me look at my surroundings differently. A case in point:
“Where is the good knife?” If you’re looking for your good X, you have bad Xs. Throw those out.
We do. We have so many bad knives that I bypass to grab the “good knife.” Why don’t we get rid of the old bad knives, resharpen the ones that can be resharpened, and get new ones so we have multiple ones we like? Why do we hold on to dull knives that we don’t use?
And this one:
If you listen to successful people talk about their methods, remember that all the people who used the same methods and failed did not make videos about it.

My favorite internet wisdom is and always will be to cut brownies with a plastic knife only. So much neater. I’ve shared that here before but it will never not amaze me.

Oh wow, I love that list! In fact, there is food for thought there for future blogposts.
Today, the internet taught me to use plastic knives with brownies! I never knew – and I don’t think I even have a plastic knife. I think I’ll have to make brownies on the weekend just to test this out. lol
Today the internet also taught me that I should have booked some flights last week. But I was stressed getting things sorted so we COULD book the flights. And now they’re expensive. Sigh!
I bypass a lot of knives – that doesn’t mean they’re not good. It just means they’re not good for this particular job.
I don’t know if I’ve learned anything on the internet today.
