#Microblog Monday 597: Technology and Age
Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

The New York Times had a thought-provoking opinion piece (that I hopefully shared as a gift link) that said people should wait to use AI tool until they were in their 40s.
They write: “We have been so quick to treat access to new technology as an inevitability that we have failed to question whether every powerful tool should be placed in the hands of every developing mind the moment it becomes available.”
Do little kids really need the Internet, or should they learn to find information in books? Should we encourage everyone to type, or encourage slower thought through handwritten expression? I didn’t agree with everything the person said, but they gave me a lot to think about.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts connected to businesses or sponsored posts.
