#Microblog Monday 547: Yes, Another Game

Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

*******

I am normally NOT a fan of timed games – I prefer to relax and think and not worry about moving quickly – but Outlier is a lot of fun. You get a block of nine “things,” and need to figure out which one is not like the other. That one becomes a hint because it’s the theme of the next block of nine. For instance, if you had eight vegetables in the first group and a lemon, then lemon (and either fruits in general or terms for something that doesn’t work, etc) would become the theme of the next block.

You can only make nine mistakes, and you need to complete it before the time runs out. The nice thing is you can play the archives.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts connected to businesses or sponsored posts.

I normally don’t like timed games either but you are right, that one is pleasant.

Oooh, that was a fun one. I did feel real stupid on a couple because I didn’t know what some things were, but I didn’t lose! 🙂 It seems pretty forgiving, which makes it less stressful.

I loved this, which reminds me of connections. I think I first started playing that after I read a post here…
Thinking of you facing the transition back to school. Thank you again for your beautiful and moving posts about the twins starting college and going back to campus after breaks. The love and closeness you guys share shines through the page.
