#Microblog Monday 407: More Games

Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

*******

There is only one Wordle, but there are 439 Wordle-like games on this list.

It’s so funny because my friend and I were playing Wordle before it hit the mainstream, and at that time, we kept looking for other games like Wordle. “Why aren’t there any other games like Wordle?” we lamented back and forth in email. “We only get one Wordle puzzle per day — what do we do with the rest of the time?”

The answer is now here in the form of 439 other games.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts that are connected to businesses or are sponsored post.

OMG, Mel, you’re going to ruin me! As it is, I do ten wordle-esque puzzles most days. 439??? Arrrrrgh! Lol

LOL — be careful what you wish for, right?!

I still haven’t hopped on the Wordle bandwagon — but I’ve been having fun with Heardle, which is basically Name That Tune and was recently bought by Spotify. If it’s a song from the 1960s, 70s, 80s or even 90s, I do pretty well — but I suck at anything past the year 2000, which they seem to play a lot of.

Then a friend told me there are now decade-specific versions of Heardle…! So now I am playing five different versions every morning — the original plus four decade versions.

Holy Moses that’s a lot of games! I am not following any links because I am now obsessively playing at least 4 of your recommended games, including Worldle, which I am getting much better at and learning a lot. However I now realize it’s 10:20, I have to get up at 6, and I haven’t played them yet today so yikes! So nooooo more games for me. But thank you for introducing me to the Wordle, Quordle, Guess My Word, and Wordle. 🙂
