#Microblog Monday 322: Haunting

Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

*******

I like to remind the kids that my big plan is to haunt people after I’m gone. It may take awhile to learn how to haunt, but that’s where I’m placing my energy.

Popular Science ruined things—slightly—by pointing out this month seven reasons why people may think they experience ghosts. I say slightly because I’m using those ideas to better direct my future hauntings. For instance, I will never come to people if they are in a dark and scary place. I will only contact them while they are sitting in a brightly lit breakfast nook with a bowl of Cheerios. Scratch that. I would hate for the Cheerios to go soggy. I will only haunt after the Cheerios have been eaten. Try to explain THAT Popular Science: Considerate ghost waiting until you’re done with breakfast and in a well-lit space to do the haunting.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts that are connected to businesses or are sponsored post.

Gosh! Looks like you like to scare kids 😛 Funny!
In India we say that if there is an unfulfilled desire, after death people become ghost and want to fulfill that wish. Sometimes I think I would be a ghost who would want to only eat desserts 🙂

I used to believe that ghosts was a made up concept. Short story is I don’t believe that anymore. Fitting that you are posting this now given my #microblog post! LOL.

I have personally never seen a ghost and am not sure that I believe that they exist. However, I do have friends and others I know who I would be inclined to believe who have had some very interesting experiences related to ghosts and/or spiritual presences. So I’m a skeptic but think it’s possible.

Um, good luck with your haunting? 😉

I appreciate that you plan to be a considerate ghost. It’s really the only way to go.

How lovely that you would be a considerate ghost! To wait until you are done with the cheerios is truly polite. I feel like I would want to have a little fun with people, but more like a little poke or turning things upside down. Definitely no showing up in mirror reflections, writing creepy missives on walls, or possessing dolls. So very inconsiderate!

Sometimes I think how much I would like to be contacted by the ghost of a loved one but then I start to think how scary it might be! So yea, a fully lit room after breakfast sounds like a good plan!

You are the most considerate ghost-in-training I’ve never met.
