MY SISTER GOT ME A DWARSLIGGER!

Yes, I needed to scream that title.

I didn’t know when the mail carrier handed me the little package that my heart was forever going to live outside my chest in book form.  People, I am in love with dwarsliggers.

My sister saw them at a bookstore and surprised me with the only John Green book I haven’t read: Looking for Alaska.

She sent it without letting me know, so I was completely shocked when I opened the package and found a tiny book inside.

It opens horizontally instead of vertically to fit more text on the page.

Which means it also fits more love inside my heart.

Because it is so cute.  And so awesome.  And my sister is the BEST.

My aging eyes (and I’ve had to wear glasses since I was 7) would never be able to read print that tiny — maybe I could manage a page or two, but a whole book? Probably not. :p But it IS cute! 🙂 Enjoy!

Um…how did I not know these exist??? I am in love! I am totally a “book snob” and will only read books of a specific size…and while this looks out of that size, I would still read it purely based on how cute it is. Adorable!

What a cool way to fit a big-ish book in to a small package! And what a cool gift.

That is AMAZING! And I love that book, but I think I love it even more in dwarsligger form! Your sister is awesome.

I was literally thinking about your previous post about Dwarsliggers last night as I watch my niece carry her book into the movie theater. Was about to dig back to it, so I was greatly amused and impressed to see this title.

Seriously, Dwarsliggers are awesome!

Now, are there any available for tween books?

One of my goals for the upcoming weekend is to find a bookstore that has these in stock so that I can fondle them… and decide whether I should own some.

Congratulations – you have a great sister!
