Magician

Lindsay is such a great photographer that she can even make the grey in your hair disappear without using photoshop.

Unfortunately, she cannot make the squinty appear unsquinty.   But all photographers have limits.

You don’t appear squinty. You appear to have a genuine smile.

Great pictures! Send Lindsay my way – I haven’t taken a good picture since…oh, hell, I’ve never taken a good picture!

Someday…I want to meet that squinty-ness.

I always close my eyes in pictures. It’s embarrassing to be the one in elementary school always holding up the VOID sign in front of your face so that you can try again.

As an adult, I keep my sunglasses on in pictures as much as possible. Then no one can tell that my eyes are closed.

Hey hey now, I can’t fix imaginary problems!

Actually, I think that your eyes make you look friendly and warm, and like you’re laughing … not squinty. 🙂

You seriously have one of the best smiles ever though! I have a very gummy smile, and I get so conscious of it I very rarely look like I’m genuinely smiling in pictures – you look gorgeous!

Not squinty! It looks like a genuine smile! Love your curls, too. Lindsay did a great job; you look fantabulous!

I think I’m good at detecting squintyness; I have an issue with small-eyed/squinty people looking like weasels. You, madam, are no weasel. I think it perfectly displays your kind face and lovely smile. Ha – originally I typed “smell”. I’m sure you smell lovely too. Wow, that’s some picture if people just *know* you smell good.

24 Tara { 03.31.10 at 5:56 pm }

You look great, Mel. The squinty eyes make you look real.

Great pictures! Good job Lindsay. (But for those who have not seen you in person.. you are much more beautiful in person. Not meant to take anything away from the shots, I think they’re great.)
