What I got him sounds very hermionish, but there you go: it is ‘Most Famous Quidditch Players of All Times and The Innovations They Brought to the Game’ by Allegra Twisterronni. I initially thought of ‘Magical Rides Through England and Its Isles’ by Jayden Gormishire, since he did not really have the chance to travel and had no idea of where to take Ginny some place nice and quiet; but Flourish and Blotts were out of it.
