#Microblog Monday 200: My Blogoversary

Not sure what #MicroblogMondays is? Read the inaugural post which explains the idea and how you can participate too.

*******

Today my 12th blogoversary intersects with the 200th #Microblog Monday.  I have been writing this blog for 12 years.  12 years!  200 of those posts have been Microblog Monday.  The other several thousand (because I write on average 5 posts per week, 52 weeks per year) have been random mishmash from my clotty uterus to the twins to my extreme love of quokkas to bothering Josh with my feelings at 11 pm.

About 1/4th of my life has been spent writing this site.  Isn’t that mind-blowing?  A quarter of my life.

I have no great wisdom to impart except write.  Keep at it.  The way you amass 12 years is showing up for 12 years.

Thank you for being here.

Are you also doing #MicroblogMondays? Add your link below. The list will be open until Tuesday morning. Link to the post itself, not your blog URL. (Don’t know what that means? Please read the three rules on this post to understand the difference between a permalink to a post and a blog’s main URL.) Only personal blogs can be added to the list. I will remove any posts that are connected to businesses or are sponsored post.

Congratulations on 12 years AND 200 Microblog Mondays. 12 years seems amazing, but when you said 1/4 of your life, my head exploded! What an amazing community you have built here. Brava!

Congratulations! You’ve truly been a blessing in many lives. I’m always following, though I don’t always comment. I’m thinking I may be one of your “older” followers at 72! I love your posts and am often challenged to make changes.

Thank you for your faithful service to the infertility community. My only wish is that a similar support system had been available 50 years ago when I was going through my troubles.

You truly make a difference in so many lives.

Wow! Congratulations on 12 years! I found your blog back in 2012 when I first started blogging and I feel like even that was a really long time ago. Thank you for all you’ve done for the infertility and loss community.

Congratulations and thank you for always being here, a constant. And thank you for using your platform to highlight other blogs – I have found many of my other favorite bloggers through you.

Congrats Mel!!!!
And thank you for the encouragement. I took some time away to start painting again, and it’s been good for me. But now it’s time to get back to blogging.

Congratulations! That is so so amazing. I found you in 2015 I guess since then I have been around. 🙂

It’s amazing that you have been blogging for 12 years! I think I haven’t missed one MicroblogMonday except for the inaugural one, so I have written 199 of these. Wow! Thank you for creating the microblogs so I don’t get a reason to stop blogging after the twins arrived!

Congratulations! I’ve probably said said it before, but I really appreciate how you’ve tried to bring people together instead of having them separate off into little fiefdoms (which seems to be a powerful human instinct, I dunno, but definitely not always good for us). As my days struggling with fertility slowly recede in the rear view mirror (OMG? Is that actually happening?) it’s a good time to reflect on all the people who helped be in/through/beyond/transcend.

Happy blogoversary!! And congratulations on 12 years. It’s a bit surreal to see this post as today is Grey and my 14th wedding anniversary.

Wishing you many, many more years of fruitful writing

Happy blogiversary!

15 Lori Lavender Luz { 06.25.18 at 3:33 pm }

OMG. Do you know how much your space means to me? It changed the trajectory of my life. 12 years ago I didn’t know you (but I soon would) and now you and this blog are infused in so many of the good things in my life.

Happy blogoversary!

Thank YOU for being here, Mel!! (& congratulations too!). I know I would not have started my own blog without your example & encouragement to rely on. Here’s to many, many more years of writing (for both of us! 😉 ). Love you!

I love you and your blog. You have no idea how important your blog has been to me. I’m happy you’re still here, even if I don’t have time to comment or write on my own blog anymore.
Thank you and congrats again! ❤️❤️❤️🎊🍾😘🤗

Congratulations on the milestones! More importantly, thank YOU for being here! I may not be participating during the heyday when the blogroll was growing at the greatest volume, but I’m so grateful for you and for this site given where I am in my journey.

22 Jess { 06.25.18 at 9:54 pm }

Congratulations on 12 years, and 200 Microblog Mondays, and thousands of posts! That’s amazing. Thank YOU for being here, because you are like a beautiful glue for this community, and a web of connection that takes all these many parts of the internets and brings them together into a family, with Thanksgiving tables, no less! I am so grateful to you and all you do here. And I never knew what a quokka was until you, so there’s that, too! 🙂

23 Stephanie (Travelcraft Journal) { 06.26.18 at 2:30 am }
