White House Christmas Decoration Countdown: 17 Days

Counting down the days to Christmas with a daily morning post containing a photograph of the White House Christmas decorations.  Have no clue why someone Jewish is doing this or how I got all these pictures — read the first post.

I loved the bulbs on this tree in the visitor’s foyer, next to the bust of Lincoln.

It looks like a Pride flag! Awesome. Is it supposed to?

From the IF perspective I will think of it as a tree for the a Rainbow Babies.

At what point do you suppose people run out of ideas for decorations? I would have been burnt out by the second tree!

Really love this tree!

And as I admiring it, I remembered that one of the decorators from a previous year did a rather funny piece for the Moth Podcast – Simon Doonan: The First Elf, if you enjoy hearing people describe their creative process (and the twists and turns that can occur)
