2010 Winter Olympics Printable Schedule

I wanted a printable winter Olympics schedule and couldn’t find one so I made one by going day-by-day through the online schedule.  These times are for EST so check your own listings to make sure these are correct.  Since others asked, I put the Word Doc I created online and you can access it here since I made it a static page: http://tinyurl.com/winterschedule.

Our “can’t miss” events: skeleton, luge, and bobsled.  We’ll even tape them if they are shown late at night.  What are yours?

Ya think? But we’re the types who need it on the kitchen table in paper form or we won’t watch/tape. And then I couldn’t find it in a printable form!

Thanks for the link and the reminder! I love the winter olympics, and I love having a very organized and snowbound blogging buddy. 😉

Bless you for this, one thousand times!

Now I just have to figure out if I can watch on my computer. (We put the TV out to pasture.)

Those of you who live near the border can also watch coverage on CTV. And CTV Sportsnet, if you get it.

My one absolute must-see-it-all event: figure skating. But I love watching everything else too. : ) One of our executives sent around a memo encouraging everyone to wear something today that showed their patriotic/Olympic spirit, so I’m wearing my red Roots Canada Olympic sweatshirt from the 2002 Salt Lake City Games.

Re: bobsled — I’ve always had a secret desire to take a ride in a bobsled (WITH an experienced driver…!!). Several Olympics back, one of Canada’s bobsledders was a guy the same age as me, named Greg Haydenluck. I believe he’s now a phys ed teacher at a high school in Toronto. My mom told me his dad was an RCMP officer in the town where I was born, & she used to have coffee with his mom when the two of us were babies. Cool.

17 My Reality { 02.12.10 at 6:07 pm }

Umm, yeah, you completely rock!!

18 Stimey { 02.12.10 at 6:52 pm }

You rock my world. Thank you. I loooooove the Olympics—summer more than winter, but I’ll make do with snowy events.

19 Pregnant Yuppy { 02.12.10 at 8:11 pm }

I’ll be watching all of Team Canada’s curling draws for sure! And the hockey, I love the hockey!

This is awesome! I’m totally getting into curling (that’s what happens when you live close enough to the Canadian border to get CBC on tv). I’d love to see the US vs. Japan game, but have no idea how to find these things on Japanese tv. Must find out more….

You rock! 🙂 This is totally something I would do! I have been known to make spreadsheets w/ our TV viewing schedule when Season Premieres are coming! 🙂 I enjoy the snowboarding, figure skating, down hill skiing, speed skating, among other things! 🙂

Thanks SO much for doing this! I’ve been digging around online on various sites looking for a printable schedule that wouldn’t hog up all my ink. I really appreciate all the work you put into this 🙂

23 amy { 02.14.10 at 2:45 pm }

it was just what i was looking for!! thanks so much!

24 Tally { 02.15.10 at 3:58 pm }

I’m a sucker for moguls. Loved watching this event this past weekend. Oh, and luge (as sad and as difficult as it has been) and skeleton because they have a courage (or lunacy) that I can’t fathom. Go Team Whatever! 🙂

25 Barely Sane { 02.15.10 at 4:26 pm }

Soooo, should I tell you I’ll be seeing 2 events live? I’ll be at the short track speed skating this Wednesday and the women’s aerials next Wednesday. Believe me, if I could have afforded it (and gotten time off work), I’d have been at an event every single day!!
My favorite sports are those that are cut & dry rather than the ones that judges get to have an opinion but mostly, like you, I just love the thrill of sports and I LOVE to see an underdog rise to the occasion & have a person best while the whole world is watching.

Thank you thank you!!! This means I won’t have to be spoiled by looking online for the schedule each day!!!

Thanks for this….awesome!!
