I was going to say “learn how to fix things” but then I read Jendeis’ comment and I would probably give almost anything to be able to fall pregnant super easily and carry a baby to term without thinking twice about it. I guess that is fixing things, in a way.

remember that scene in the first Matrix where Neo gets uploaded with knowledge in like 2 minutes and BAM! he’s an expert? I dream about that kind of stuff because I suffer from the need to be an instant expert on everything. And it slays me when I am not (which is often. daily at the very least) And this is weird because for the most part I really enjoy the learning and absorbing process, but if I take an interest in something I want to be brilliant at it within 24 hours. So would it be fair to answer, “everything!!!!” But I would start at playing the piano, and then clothes making, and then weight loss. heh

I’d love to be able to learn all there is about genetics so that I could find causes, treatments, and possible cures for so many diseases and defects, especially the one that took my daughter.

I would learn to speak Mandarin. I used to learn Mandarin when I was a little girl but gave it up after the age of 10. Still understand some of it, but in today’s world, I wish I was fluent.

I would go to med school and become a neonatal paediatrician. That was my dream as a teenager and I wish I had been able to fulfil it. And once I had that knowledge I would definitely work in that field. Oh, I wish it were possible.

Knitting… crocheting… they are skills that take talent, produce useful objects and works of art at the same time. And it would take a miracle for me to be able to do either even remotely well.
