Oh my, I’m going to gain all my weight back just reading this. Mrs. Gamgee that pumkin creme brule sounds wonderful as does CC’s pumkin turtle pie. I’m big on pumkin.
As for what I’ll bring? Hmm. I hardly ever cook much anymore. One of my favorite comfort foods though is chicken and dumplings. I think I’ll bring some of that.
I’m also thankful for this entire community, the friends I’ve made here and the support I’ve found. I’m also thankful that I have found a job I like and a place that I really like too. I wish that place were closer to my chosen family but am so glad it doesn’t snow there.

I love big family meals, and what a wonderful family to be a part of! I am so thankful for all of you in my IF family who have encouraged me and helped me through the toughest thing I have ever had to go through. I am praying for all of you that God blesses you soon with the family of your dreams! I brought our family’s traditional spinach (made with bacon!) It is so delicious and good for those of us TTC or who are pregnant. Hope you enjoy! Love you all!

I am overthinking my own offering, therefore have not replied yet.

I’ve got a lot to be thankful for this year, but I should mention that I’m thankful to be able to sit at this table. With my… um… scones. Because I made scones on the weekend and how often do you make scones?

PS: Good call on the cookbook, I’m in! We actually started the “Infertility Sucks Store” on a Google group. Not actually a store, just one night on Twitter us infertile myrtles were discussing various items we could make and sell… for example, a Christmas wreath out of used OPKs, ornaments with pictures of empty wombs… and having a good laugh out of all this. We created the imaginary “store” to document these ideas.

This is so wonderful, I’ll admit it made my little Grinch heart wobble and the ‘ol peepers get a little watery. I’m honored to join you ladies here at the table, and I’ll bring along my hubby too if you don’t mind since he’s in this with me (and is kind enough to be a collaborator on my blog!).

We’ve been TTC for 5 years, and in there has been 4 miscarriages. I’ve pretty much spent the these last years walling myself up, toughening up, and just trying to endure. I’ve felt more support from this community in the last few months since I started my blog than in the last 5 years. I was so worried that I would end up wallowing in my and other’s misery. On the contrary, I’ve found brave women who carry this burden with grace and humor. And in turn its made me graceful (figuratively of course, I have trouble balancing while standing on a flat, smooth surface) and (hopefully) humorous.

So, from the new gal, thanks for having me–for welcoming me, and making me feel at home. Because I’m a good ‘ol Western gal, I’ll be bringing a Mexican lasagna and some empanadas for dessert. Happy holidays, and my God bless and keep you all.

Seriously – we need some more recipes here! I’ve lost track of all the delicious things that I want to sample. I think I’ll bring a vegetable dish. I never actually had brussels sprouts until I tried this as a grown up chef. Looking around the table, I “see” the faces that have sustained me through some pretty dark times recently. I’m so glad to have met you, and that we can share this meal together, as we have shared so many ups and downs.

Seeing as the pierogi and cabbage rolls are already present, I would like to share some of the carrot & rutabaga mash with you. Served piping hot, it is soaked in butter and brown sugar and pepper. It might look like baby food, but it is a part of the tradition in my family.

Happy Thanksgiving all! It will be delightful to share with all of you knowing that I won’t get all of the dreaded questions and unsolicited advice about MC/RPL/IF. What a relief!

Is it okay if I bring a few things? First, I will make some Southern cornbread dressing. It’s really good, and I make a ton! I’ll also bring a TV if that’s okay. Football is a Thanksgiving staple in my world. Shall I bring a keg of beer, so there’s plenty to share? I’ll be sure to pick up some ice on my way. Let’s eat!
